Who are Knots?
Veteran Knots is a UK rum company founded in 2022 by serving and former members of the Armed Forces, with over 71 years' service between them. Our name and our figure of eight knot logo come from the Royal Navy, where the rum story starts. Read our story.
What's the difference between KNOTS XO and your flavoured rums?
KNOTS XO is our premium rum: a 9-year aged dark rum from Venezuela, aged in ex-bourbon barrels and made for sipping. Our flavoured range (Butterscotch, Biscoff and seasonal Pumpkin) is handcrafted and produced in the UK, and made for mixing, sharing and stocking fillers.
How should I drink KNOTS XO?
Neat, or over one large ice cube so it doesn't melt quickly and water down the rum. It's one to sip and savour. For more ideas, see our serves and recipes.
How much is delivery?
UK delivery is £5.99 per order. Every order is packed by hand by our small, veteran-run team.
When do I need to order for Christmas?
Order by 20th December for Christmas delivery.
Do you deliver outside the UK?
We currently deliver within the UK only.
Do I need to be 18 to order?
Yes. Alcohol is not for sale to anyone under 18, and proof of age may be requested on delivery.
Can I add a gift message?
Yes. On any product page, tap Add a free gift message before you add it to your basket, and we'll include your message with the order.
Do you do corporate or bulk orders?
Yes. We offer discounts on 10 or more bottles and can send to your office or straight to each recipient. Get a corporate quote.
Do you sell gift cards?
Yes. If you're not sure which bottle to pick, a Knots gift card lets them choose, and it's sent by email straight away.
Can I return my order?
We accept returns on unopened, undamaged bottles. Email info@veteranknots.co.uk and we'll talk you through it. If a bottle arrives damaged, contact us straight away with a photo. Read our full returns policy.
How long does rum keep once it's opened?
Keep the bottle sealed, upright and out of direct sunlight. KNOTS XO will keep well for a long time after opening. Our flavoured rums are at their best within a year of opening.
